Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Smart Solve Hub ("we," "us," "our," "the Site") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit thesmartsolvehub.com, create an account, browse products, or place an order. It applies to visitors, registered customers, and guest checkout customers.
- Information We Collect
Account and contact information: if you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text). If you check out as a guest, we collect your name, email address, and phone number for that order only.
Order and transaction information: shipping address, billing address, the products and quantities you ordered, order totals, the payment method you selected, and payment status (e.g., pending, paid, refunded). For payments made through a manual channel (bank transfer, InstaPay, or cryptocurrency), we also collect the proof-of-payment information you submit so an administrator can verify it.
Shipping and delivery information: your delivery address and, once an order ships, carrier and tracking information supplied by our fulfillment/shipping partners.
Browsing and product-interest information: pages you visit, products you view, searches you run, and items you add to your cart. Where you are not signed in, this activity is linked to an anonymous session identifier stored in a cookie, not to your real identity, unless you later create an account or check out.
Cookies and session identifiers: we use a small number of first-party, functional cookies — a session identifier (used to keep your cart and recently-viewed items working, and to record anonymous browsing activity as described above) and, if you sign in, an authentication session cookie. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or third-party ad-tracking pixels on the Site.
Support and communications: if you contact support (by opening a support ticket, using live chat, or emailing us), we collect the content of that conversation and the contact details you provide in it.
Marketing interactions: if you engage with our content on a third-party social platform (for example, commenting on or messaging us through a Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or X post), that platform provides us limited interaction data (such as that a message was sent) governed by that platform's own privacy policy, described further in Section 4.
We do not knowingly collect more information than is needed for the purposes described in Section 2, and we do not collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data) as part of normal Site operation.
- How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- create and manage your account;
- process, fulfil, and ship your orders;
- process payments and verify manually-submitted payment proof;
- provide customer support and respond to your questions;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
- understand which products and pages are performing well, so we can improve the Site and catalogue;
- personalize your experience (for example, showing recently-viewed or related products);
- send you order-related communications (confirmations, shipping updates); and
- send you marketing communications, but only where you have opted in, and you may opt out at any time.
- Legal Basis and Retention
We process order and account information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (fulfilling the order you placed) or to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting records). We process browsing/analytics information based on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site. Where we rely on your consent (for example, marketing emails), you can withdraw that consent at any time.
We keep order and account records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. We keep anonymous browsing/session data only as long as it remains useful for the purposes in Section 2, and we do not currently have a fixed automatic-deletion schedule for it; if you would like anonymous session data associated with a cookie deleted, contact us as described in Section 8.
- Who We Share Information With
We share information only where necessary to run the Site and fulfil your order:
- Payment providers: PayPal, for orders paid via PayPal, receives the information needed to process that payment. For bank transfer, InstaPay, and cryptocurrency payments, no third-party payment processor is involved — payment proof is reviewed manually by our team.
- Suppliers and fulfilment partners: the supplier that ships your order receives the shipping information needed to fulfil and deliver it.
- Shipping/logistics and carrier partners: to deliver your order and provide tracking.
- Infrastructure providers: our database, authentication, and hosting are provided by third-party infrastructure providers (including Supabase) under their own security and privacy commitments; they process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
- Email delivery: transactional emails (order confirmations, account emails) are sent through a third-party email delivery provider.
- Social platforms: if you interact with our content on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or X, that platform processes your interaction according to its own privacy policy — see Section 5.
- Legal and regulatory authorities: where required by law, to comply with a legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Smart Solve Hub, our customers, or others.
We do not sell your personal information.
- Third-Party Social Platforms
We maintain a presence on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X, and publish product content there. If you follow, like, comment on, or message us through any of these platforms, your interaction is also processed by that platform under its own privacy policy and terms — we do not control, and are not responsible for, how these platforms handle your data on their side.
- Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can access and update most account information directly from your account dashboard. For any other request, contact us using the details in Section 8 and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
- Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
- International Data Transfers and Security
Our infrastructure providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where this happens, we rely on those providers' own security and compliance safeguards. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure credential storage — to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
